Synthesis of 3-D Separable-Denominator State-Space Digital Filters with Minimum L2-Sensitivity.

This paper deals with the analysis and minimization of L₂-sensitivity for three-dimensional state-space digital filters which are separable in the denominator. First, a novel expression for evaluating the L₂-sensitivity is developed in closed form. An iterative procedure for synthesizing the optimal filter structures is then presented so as to minimize the L₂-sensitivity.
