Abstract
- The article discusses the political condition in China. The appointments made by President Hu Jintao on Yuan Chunqing, Liu Qibao and Lin Shusen in the provincial positions is believed to strengthen his political power. There will be a full-scale re-election process for provincial, municipality, county and township government officials under central leadership starting July 2006. The Central Party School confirmed political reform as remaining government agenda.
