TAIWAN'S PARTICIPATION IN INTER-GOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATIONS.

Emboldened by the ascendance of economic issues on the global agenda and the erosion of security-driven bipolar structures, Taiwan in the late 1980s decided to use its economic advantages for diplomatic gain.
