Abstract

The article focuses on vismat, a modified slide projector that, by means of a mirror, projects a color-slide image onto a two-foot-square piece of white plastic that is solidly bonded to the floor. Vismats are being used by supermarkets to advertise products. It explains how vismats work. According to a market researcher, items that are advertised by vismats increased in sales.
