Abstract: The article presents a letter entitled "Diagnosis of lymphogranuloma venereum from biopsy samples" published within the issue. It focuses on the diagnosis of the sexually transmitted chlamydial infection called lymphogranuloma venereum (LGV) from biopsy samples at the Sexually Transmitted Bacteria Reference Laboratory in Great Britain. All cases of LGV were found in men who have sex with men and present with proctitis or inguinal lymphadenopathy.
