Abstract
- The article presents a discussion on the use of registers in eye diseases. A register can be defined as an epidemiological investigation resembling that of a cohort study. The most familiar registers to the ophthalmologists of Great Britain are the national Blind and Partial Sight registers. By examining subjects from existing registers, much useful eye research can be undertaken.
