Abstract

The article presents information on a research regarding the neuropsychological assessment of neurodegenerative diseases using the computer program Cambridge Neuropsychological Test Automated Battery (CANTAB). The use of CANTAB in the neuropsychiatry can improve the quality of the tests since computerized tests have many advantages such as precision, speed and reliability. CANTAB is designed to test different aspects of mental functioning in order to construct performance profiles for patients.
