A medical fix - management of addicts in detention: clinical forensic medicine January symposium.

The article reports on the highlights of a joint meeting of the Royal Society of Medicine's Section of Chemical Forensic Medicine and Metropolitan Forensic Medical Examiners. The meeting focused on the management of drug addiction. Doctor Neville Davis presented the paper, entitled "Experiences of many police surgeons". Professor David Grahame-Smith discussed how research has increased the knowledge of what drugs actually do to the brain.
