Abstract
- The article reports on the highlights of the meeting of the Royal Society of Medicine's Section of Comparative Medicine which was held on April 21, 1993. Professor KayTee Khaw discussed the effects of age in people with a series of epidemiological studies. Doctor Nadia Rupniak explored the effects of ageing on the central nervous system in monkeys and its relevance as a model of human disease.
