Abstract
- While scholars have examined the direct effects of entrepreneurial orientation (EO) on new venture performance, we propose that ventures¿ network strategies intervene in the EO performance relationship. Our findings suggest that founding teams of entrepreneurial and conservative ventures build distinctively different social networks that in turn, both enable and constrain performance.
