Abstract
- The article presents information on several music bands that performed from 1935 to 1950 in the U.S. Bands led by musicians Glen Gray and Benny Goodman dominated the realm of music in the late thirties and the early forties. Musicians Pete Candoli and Ralph Burns formed the First Herd band in 1945, which became very popular.
