Abstract

The article announces the changes made by Austrian Airlines in its operations to improve cost management in 2006. The airline company added six B767-300ER and four B777-200ER while eliminating four A330-200 and two A340-300. Moreover, the airline restructured its route plans. The rise in company costs such as lease rentals and pricing is cited as the reasons for Austria Airlines restructuring.
