Abstract
- The article presents a reprint of a news story that was published in the previous issue of the periodical "Pasco-Kennewick-Richland Tri-City Herald." Police officers in Sacramento, California decided to place fake owls in the trees by the police building to drive away starlings. Bird droppings were fouling the vehicles that were parked underneath the trees. A work crew placed the owls in the wrong trees.
