Abstract
- The article presents a discussion about a certain insect with eight legs but is not considered to be a spider. These insects have elongated limbs that also serve as their sensory organs. The French call them les faucheux, which means "the reapers." The Germans call these insects die Afterspinnen, which means "near spiders," and the Americans call them daddy longlegs.
