Abstract

The article presents an abstract of the research paper "NDMA-Induced <superscript>45</superscript>Ca Release in Dentate Gyrus of Newborn rats." The paper explains that the release of <superscript>45</superscript>Ca from the ryanodine-sensitive Ca<superscript>2+</superscript> pool in the dentate gyrus of immature rats participates in generation of NMDA-induced Ca<superscript>2+</superscript> signaling, whereas the role of calbindin in the mechanism of <superscript>45</superscript>Ca release is negligible.
