Abstract

This article highlights certain lessons that terrorist bombings on London, England on July 7, 2005 present before the world. An investigation into the bombings provides lessons about the nature of the threat posed by al-Qaeda. European nations are at the receiving end of threats. The other lesson underscored by the London bombings is that the terrorists have adjusted to a new order. The most enduring lesson terrorism experts have learned is that terrorism can't easily be contained.
