The article offers information on health policy research. One study focused on the use of public opinion surveys in decision-making involved in public health policies for water fluoridation programs. Another paper explored the regional differences of the Swedish welfare system. In another study, the organization of an avian flu task force by the Norwegian Institute of Public Health as a response to public concerns regarding the disease is discussed.
