Abstract

The article presents information on how to perform amateur experiments in tissue culture using living animal cells. One important fact is that the cell culture requires the same growth factors and nutrients at same concentrations, but the procedures should be held in a clean medium. Therefore, a beginner should learn the elements of standard bacteriological procedures including sterilization of glassware, certain mediums and reagents, before setting up a tissue culture.
