Abstract
- The article presents a fictional case dealing with common managerial dilemmas. Cheryl Jamis is a senior manager attempting to juggle the responsibilities of her job and the responsibilities of motherhood. Details concerning Cheryl's marriage are related, with consideration given to her pursuit of a promotion and its effects on her relationship with her daughter. Suggested solutions to Cheryl's situation are presented, given by human resource experts and female executive that have dealt with similar issues.
