Abstract
- Takayasu’s arteritis (TA) is a vasculitis characterized by inflammation and obliteration of intermediate to large-size arteries. We report a case of Takayasu’s arteritis with a presentation of bilateral pulmonary nodular infiltrates in a 21-year-old man. An open-lung biopsy showed characteristic changes of extra-vascular granulomatosis. To our knowledge, this has not been described previously in the literature. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
