Notes to contributors.

The article offers a series of notes aimed at academic scholars contemplating becoming a contributor, whether through article writing or book reviewing, to the periodical "British Journal of Sociology." Two sets of guidelines are presented, one setting forth the standards for contributors to adhere to when submitting a scholarly article, with particular attention to bibliographical referencing, and one setting forth the standards for a potential contributor submitting a book review.
