Abstract

The article focuses on the production of nuclear power in Denmark. Denmark has sufficient expertise to operate nuclear power plants. The country did not produce nuclear power during the 1960s and 1970s. A nuclear reactor research laboratory was established in the country in the year 1957. A plan to install about 14,000 megawatts of nuclear power in Elsam, Denmark before the year 2000 was designed in the year 1973. The construction of two nuclear reactors in the country began in the year 1970. The reactors became operational in the years 1975 and 1977.
