Abstract
- The article presents information on the examination of newspaper columnist Jack Anderson's papers. Anderson co-wrote the "Washington Merry-Go-Round" column for several decades after World War II, but he kept his personal papers in a shorthand that only he knew how to read. His children and Mark Feldstein, who is writing a biography of Anderson, are sorting through his papers before turning them over to George Washington University for its collection. Feldstein's book, scheduled for publication in 2008, will examine postwar politics and scandal in Washington, D. C.
