Abstract

The article reports that newspaper web sites account for half on online video advertising sales, more than double that of television stations' web sites. Though newspaper typically have dedicated digital sales executives, most television stations have to use existing staff with some digital expertise to manage their sites and other new media initiatives. Comments from Frank Comerford, president and general manager for WNBC-TV in New York, are presented.
