Information about the topics discussed at the international conference entitled "Nuerocritical Care 2006: Synchronicity" that was held on November 2-5, 2006 in Baltimore, Maryland is presented. The event include a lecture and symposium on ischemic stroke, its management and prevention, and the application of combined intravenous and intra-arterial thrombolysis in the treatment of acute ischemic stroke. The conference was jointly hosted by the Neurocritical Care Society and the Cleveland Clinic.
