Abstract
- Information about several topics discussed at a symposium held during the 2006 American Academy of Ophtalmology Joint Meeting concerning the treatment of dry eye inflammation is presented. The background of dry eye inflammation, its syndrome, and how it affects the life quality of an individual is described. Theories on the causes, nature, and the effects of the disease which lead to newer treatment approaches are also presented.
