Abstract
- The article reports on topics covered at the International Digital Publishing Forum's (IDPF) Digital Book 2007 conference, which was held in Manhattan, New York, on May 9. Discussions included electronic books and when they will be accepted by the public, library input on e-content research, and handheld reading devices. Google's announcement of a plan to make money from Google Book Search raised questions on privacy and intellectual freedom.
