Abstract

This paper investigates cross-media publishing: the alternative publishing channels that can be exploited by newspaper organizations. It includes an analysis of the adoption of cross-media publishing by the top 10 US dailies as well as a discussion of the reasons for employing cross-media publishing and the degree of success of this endeavor. The results of the analysis indicate a moderate use of cross-media publishing in the US. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
