Abstract
- The article presents the story of The Right Honourable John G. Diefenbaker Center's origins, as a working archive and public museum, an American inspiration located at the University of Saskatchewan in Canada. The center is described to have similarities to the American presidential libraries, which has relation to Prime Minister John Diefenbaker's beliefs. An overview of his understanding of the concept of commemoration is offered.
