Abstract
- The article discusses a German federal government regulation granting workers an income tax exemption for Christmas 1960. Through an averred oversight, certain low income workers not receiving Christmas bonuses but with children may encounter decided disadvantages in January 1961 in the form of reduced sick pay, death benefits, and bad weather subsidies.
