Abstract
- The article reports on the growth of shopping malls in San José, Costa Rica. The region has about half a dozen enclosed malls. Existing malls are expanding their size. For instance, the 248,000-square-foot Paseo de las Flores Mall will be gaining 162,000 square feet. Another expansion is implemented by Grupo Roble to incorporate the Spanish retailer Zara into the center.
