Abstract
- This article reports that Great Britain's BAE Systems completed the sale of its Inertial Products business for $140 million in cash to the private equity firm J.F. Lehman & Co. The sale includes BAE's share of Silicon Sensing Systems, a joint venture with Sumitomo Precision Products that is based in Great Britain and Japan. Brief background on the Inertial Products unit is given.
