Abstract
- The article analyzes the thesis of philosopher Jason Stanley on anti-intellectualism. His case for anti-intellectualism is considered as an argument to the best explanation of five cases including high stakes, low stakes, ignorant high stakes, low attributor-high stakes and high attributor-low stakes. His arguments are seen to be in false premise because his case for anti-intellectualism does not succeed. According to Stanley, more stringent are the conditions required for the variables when the cost is higher.
