Abstract

The article reports on the 50th Golden Anniversary of the Australian Journal of Public Administration (AJPA) in 1989 and its historical milestones. AJPA, on its younger years, is also known as the Public Administration periodicals. Its publication started in Australia in 1937 when the New South Wales Group of the Royal Institute of Public Administration started publishing its news and documents under F. Armand Bland as the editor of the periodical. AJPA has experienced an unexpected change when it comes to the required amount of volumes and difficulties in publication. Several years have passed, AJPA continues to aim forward for the betterment if its publications.
