Clinical Predictors of Gleason Score Upgrading.

The article deals with a study that identified clinical predictors of upgrading of biopsy-derived low-risk prostate cancer by using radical prostatectomy specimens as the gold standard. The researchers examined 175 cases of low-risk prostate cancer treated with radical prostatectomy and applied logistic regression analysis to evaluate preoperative risk factors for their ability to predict Gleason score upgrading. They also developed a nomogram which could aid in clinical decision-making.
