Abstract

The article offers information on the susceptibility of prime ministers. It forwards that prime ministers hold their position by virtue of their party leadership, and it is argued that they have become so mighty that they have developed a capacity to act almost independently of their parties. Relative to this, the issue of the vulnerability of prime ministers has been emphasized by the political changes which occurred in the last forty years. The roles which prime ministers play in the governments of Great Britain, Canada, and Australia have been considered in this undertaking.
