Rare modes of decay from high-spin isomers.

Through nuclear isomerism, the spin degree of freedom adds an extra dimension to the exploration of the nuclear landscape and its limits, and to the understanding of the different modes of radioactivity. In the present work, high-spin isomers are discussed with respect to fission, α decay, proton decay, and neutron decay.
