Abstract
- The article examines the significant developments and general trends in European Commission (EC) competition law and policy in 1995 through the discussion of the Commission's decisional practice, the case law of the Court of Justice and of the Court of First Instance, and new legislation adopted in this period. The most important feature in the implementation of EC competition rules in 1995 lies in the emphasis put by the Commission and the European courts on the competitive structure of the markets under consideration particularly the removal of barriers to market entry erected by undertakings through cooperative arrangements or unilateral action.
