Abstract: The article presents a literature review on smoking in relation to adolescent and adult cancer patient and survivors. It examines the prevalence of smoking habit among cancer patients. It explores the adverse health effects of smoking on cancer treatment and survival. It also describes the issues associated with smoking as a cancer risk factor.
