Abstract

The article focuses on a 2007 survey regarding the regular employee salary by geographic location. It is reported that more than 99% of the people who participated in the survey are working in the U.S. or Canada, and the remaining 0.54% are working in other places. It stated that although the East North Central region has the most respondents including the people who work in the U.S., it is not the highest paying region, but rather the Pacific region. The Pacific region averaged salary is $90,373 which is higher than the U.S. national average salary of $80,710. However, even though the Pacific region has highest salary, it does not mean that those respondents have more money to spend after they pay all of their living expenses.
