Abstract
- Immunity definitely has a role, among other homeostatic mechanisms, in cancer control. However, that role is complex and controversial. Extensive experimental work in vivo and in vitro has shown that immunity may inhibit or, under certain circumstances, actually stimulate cancer growth.
