Abstract

The article focuses on a study reviewed injuries resulting from the attenuated energy projectile (AEP) in patients who presented to emergency departments after getting involved in serious public disorder and riot in Northern Ireland from July to September 2005. Patient records were obtained from emergency departments and a total of 14 records showed injuries related to AEP, including closed mandibular fracture, neck haematoma and bone fractures.
