Abstract
- The authors offer their thoughts on the development of the "Journal of Telemedicine and Telecare". They said that the first issue of the journal was published in early 1994, wherein during that time there were no specialist academic journals in the field of telemedicine. They said that the Royal Society of Medicine took the risk to launch the journal to advance the knowledge on telemedicine.
