This article presents a report on the proceeding "webcampaigning@public sphere(s)," which took place at the Universität Siegen in Siegen, Germany, in November 2007. The goal of the workshop was to examine the role of campaign politics on the internet, and to examine the theoretical level in the frame of the central concept of the "public." The project titles included "Protest- und Medienkulturen im Umbruch. Transnationale Corporate Campaigns in Zeichen digitaler Kommunikation" and "Medienumbrüche."
