Abstract

The article discusses issues related to illegal immigration in the U.S. Democratic candidates for the 2008 presidential elections are not talking about immigration reform. Neither Republican nor Democratic administrations, except President George W. Bush's administration, have enforced actions to stop illegal immigration. According to Mark Krikorian, executive director of the Center for Immigration Studies in Washington D.C., consistent enforcement laws could prevent illegal immigration.
