The article reports that preparations for initial public offerings (IPOs) in Hong Kong, China have continued strongly all summer, with sellers undeterred by the anxieties that have haunted debt and equity traders around the world. There are currently 10 IPOs, either in marketing or premarketing, expected to raise nearly $6 billion. The Hang Seng Property index is up about a third in 2007, as investors have clambered aboard stocks that are being propelled by China's rapid economic growth and urbanisation.
