Abstract

The article presents a study which tackles the implication of social influence and how it is placed in people's social networks and relationships. It provides emphasis on the use of laboratory studies in analyzing and assessing the impact of social influence on the cognitive processes of individuals. In addition, it states that there is a need for researchers to strengthen the methods they are using and integrate new models to focus more on the dimensions underlying social influence.
