Abstract
- The article discusses the results of the Navy HRM survey which was administered to a sample of U.S. Navy enlisted personnel. It states that this survey was conducted in order to provide further data on the attitudes of women in the Navy compared to their male counterparts. The author examined in depth the presence of a less positive outlook in women who reached higher ranking. The author proposes that the inability of the U.S. Navy to fully integrate women because of the ban on women in combat may be the underlying cause for this dissatisfaction.
