Abstract
- The article focuses on the reopening of the Royal Hall in Harrogate, England, on April 27, 2008. Contributions from benefactors, such as property developer Paul Sykes, has allowed the hall to reopen with everything in pristine condition and looking just as it appeared when the building was first completed in 1904. It is stated that the hall's closure has been particularly felt by the Harrogate International Festival, because the hall has always held its chamber orchestra concerts and celebratory recitals.
