Abstract

The article presents an association and co-variance analysis of plant communities. The co-variance analysis overpowers the difficulty of a quadrat size/association trend interaction. The association analysis is advantageous because the quadrat groupings can be organized on a map and the causal factors studied in the field. Depending primarily on the size of the quadrat used, the quadrat groupings are arbitrary. The association analysis is more valuable in defining the real problems in the field.
